Act one

Opening night, every time

While the gallery loads, visitors get a show instead of a spinner: black velvet curtains, chasing marquee lights in your colour, your show's name in poster letters and a real progress bar.

  • Hanging the art…
  • Adjusting the lights…
  • Straightening the frames…
  • Shh… the artists are putting the finishing touches on the walls.

Then a pulsing Step inside →, the curtains part, and they're standing in the room.

Act two

Everything a real gallery does

Built for artists, galleries and shows. Each feature is a setting or a field in the stack, never code.

walk

Walk it like a real room

Hold and drag to walk, two fingers to turn. On a computer, arrow keys and a drag. A one-time hint shows new visitors how.

tour

Guided tour

One tap glides visitors piece by piece, once, in your order, then hands control back.

sell

A buy button on every piece

Tap a painting for a slim strip with the title, the story and "Take it home · from $89". It opens your shop in a new tab, so visitors keep their place.

sold

Red sold dots

The gallery tradition, on the wall beside the frame, plus a SOLD tag. "Only 3 left" shows on low editions.

♥

Favourites

Visitors heart pieces as they walk and see them all at the end. Can save into your site's own wish list.

audio

Audio guide

Add a voice note to any piece and visitors hear the artist as they arrive, with a tap-to-stop bubble. A soft gallery sound is one switch away.

thanks

The thank-you card

When the tour ends or they leave: the artists with Follow and Visit buttons, their favourites, and Share this show.

share

Share one piece

A link that opens the walk-through right in front of that painting. On a computer, a QR code carries the gallery to a phone.

light

Lighting moods

Daylight, a warm evening, or spotlit with the room in shadow. Museum plaques under every piece when you want them.

Act three

Make the room yours

Ten wall colours or any colour code, seven frame finishes, standard or floating frames, and five room styles from a classic white gallery to a warm loft.

Floating frames

The art seems to hover inside a slim frame with a dark shadow gap all round, the way galleries show originals now.

True to size

Give a piece its real size and it hangs at exactly that size. A small 8×10 looks small on a big wall, and tapping it walks you in close, the way you'd lean in at a real show.

Act five

It sells while it shows

The buy strip on each piece, the More panel and the thank-you card, as visitors see them on a phone.

Three phone screens: a piece's strip with a SOLD tag and Sizes button; the More panel with plaques, gallery sound, lighting moods and sharing; the thank-you card listing four artists with Follow and Visit buttons and a favourite

Questions

Before the doors open

Do visitors need to install anything?

No. It runs in the web browser they already have, on a phone or a computer. Nothing to download or sign up for.

Will it slow my page down?

No. Your page loads only a small script. The 3D files load when someone taps the button, and their browser keeps them for the next visit.

Can visitors buy from inside the gallery?

Yes. Every piece can carry a price and a link to your shop page, which opens in a new tab so the visitor keeps their place in the gallery.

How many pieces can a show have?

As many as you like. Walls fill in order and a big show flows into more rooms with doors between them.

How do voice notes work?

Add a link to an MP3 or M4A recording in a Piece, and visitors hear it at that piece. A Voice Memo from your phone works well.

Does it work with Total CMS?

Yes. Point the stack's Data URL at a JSON feed of your pieces and the show builds itself from your content.
